Book Review!

Hi!
Today, I am going to be reviewing a book called Utterly Me, Clarice Bean. By Lauren Child!
Here is the blurb.

"This is me, Clarice Bean. Mrs Wilberton- my teacher, wants us to do a book project, which sounds utterly dreary...until I find out, there is an actual prize. Me and my utterly best friend, Betty Moody, really want to win... But how???"

I have just finished reading this book! I am not much of a reading person, though I have really enjoyed it!
I think this book is great, for people like me, who prefer easier books. It is only 187 pages long, so it doesn't get too BORING!

It is basically about the crazy, chaotic life of an 11 year old girl, Clarice Bean and all of her small adventures. Clarice loves reading spy books, so in the book she uses what she has learnt to solve the crazy problems that go-on in about a week of her life.

I really like the sort of language that this book uses. It is written from the girls point of view, so it is quite funny, and sometimes relateable.
I hope this post made want to read this book!
MUCH LOVE!

Today :)

Hello there,
I thought I would stop by to say hello,
and tell you what I did today.

On the way home from school we stopped at the supermarket,
I got 2 new things!
Yay!

The first one is called Spray Moisturiser which is actually mums
but we will share it!!
it smells SO good!
It actually really works too!

The second one is called Strawberry Sensation No-More Tangles Spray
(it is actually for toddlers but it makes your hair smell of strawberries amnd it really works!

Then I went home and read my DOLLY mag! I love it!

Then I made a cake! (I kind of cheated though)
RECIPE:
You will need:
1 sponge cake, Chelsea Pink Icing Sugar, Sprinkles and Cream.

Cut your sponge cake in half horizontally (ie Divide into top and bottom halfs.)
Spread cream all over the top of the bottom half. Then place the top half onto it.
You should have a two layered cake with cream in the middle. Then just add hot water to your icing and spread it alllllllll over! Sprinkle some hundreds and thousands to top it off.

VoiLa!
A perfect sponge cake!

Chicken Fried Rice Recipe

Hello,
last night I made dinner for my parents, grandparents and brother.
I made two courses, the first one was fried rice,
the second one was banana split!
They said that they liked the fried rice alot, so here is my recipe!

(not my photo)

EDIES CHICKEN FRIED RICE RECIPE:

ingredients:
Cooked chicken
Cooked rice
Spring onion
Green onion
Garlic
Cooked corn
Carrot
Ginger
Soy Sauce
Vegetable Oil
Egg

Chop up half of a spring onion,
half of a green onion, half of a garlic
and half of a carrot into very tiny pieces.
Then chop your ginger, into tinsy winsy bits! You could even grate it,
you will only need about half a teaspoon of ginger.
Finally take the corn and chop it off the cobb.
Put all the veges to the side.

Make sure all of your veges are ready.
Make sure all of your chicken and rice is cooked.
(we panfried our chicken in small pieces, and used absorption to cook the rice.)
When you have made sure everything is ready to go,
put some vegetable oil in a large pan and turn it onto a low heat.
Put in all of your vegetables and mix them around untill they are soft.
This should take around 2 minutes.
Then add in two lightly beaten eggs and wait for them to cook a little bit, break them up with your spoon if you need to. Next add your rice and stir that in with it.
You may need to add abit more oil.
Finally add the chicken and soy sauce. Stir it all around untill it is all combined.
When you have finished frying the rice spoon it into little bowls and voila!
Your done!

Happy Eating!
